John Deere forwarders vary in size and load capacity. So when assessing each machine, consider the quality and quantity of the timber, as well as the unevenness of the land.
Smaller models like the 1100 series have a load rating of 13 tons and deliver around 194 horsepower. Additional features include advanced boom control, self-leveling cab, and the TimberMatic™ Control System with fine-tuned hydraulics for smoother movements. Mid-size forwarders offer the same technological advancements, along with improved horsepower, load capacities, and tractive force. And the largest model, the 1910G, features a load rating of over 20 tons, an extensive boom reach, and superior lifting power.
